Claims and discovery manual

Take control of an existing public identity without creating a duplicate.

Entriza can already contain a DJ, location or event discovered from public sources. A claim connects verified management to that existing record. It does not grant access immediately. The review protects public information and current owners, so applicants should use their real account, the correct organizer workspace and evidence the review team can verify.

For artists, venue operators and organizers who recognize an existing Entriza record.
Step 1

Search before creating anything

Search spelling variants, stage names, venue names and linked events. Open the existing record and compare city, official links and event history. A duplicate divides followers and weakens event connections.

What to do

  • Search common name variants.
  • Check profile type, city and linked events.
  • Use claim instead of creating a second record.
Step 2

Prepare the correct account and workspace

Sign in with an account controlled by the person or current organization. Event claims require an organizer workspace, and sensitive claim actions require completed account security. Do not use a temporary contractor's personal identity as the permanent owner.

What to do

  • Verify the account email.
  • Create or select the correct organizer workspace.
  • Complete MFA before submitting the claim.
Step 3

Provide verifiable evidence

Explain your role and add official website or social links that show the connection. Keep the statement factual and specific. Never upload passwords, private identity documents or card data when public organizational evidence is enough.

What to do

  • State your role and relationship.
  • Add official public URLs.
  • Explain any name difference clearly.
Step 4

Understand the review state

A submitted claim can remain pending or require more information. During review, the existing page stays public and control does not change. Do not submit repeated claims to bypass the queue.

What to do

  • Follow the status shown on the page.
  • Respond to a request for information once.
  • Keep the public evidence available during review.
Step 5

Correct the record after approval

After approval, review name, city, biography, venue details, imagery and official links in every supported language. Preserve accurate event history and existing relationships. Ownership is permission to maintain the record, not to erase inconvenient but factual past appearances.

What to do

  • Review all four language versions.
  • Correct factual and contact details.
  • Keep valid event and profile links intact.
Step 6

Claim an external discovery event

An organizer can claim a discovery event to connect it to an authorized workspace and manage the verified record. The official external source and ticket route should remain accurate until an Entriza sales setup genuinely replaces them.

What to do

  • Open the claim area on the discovery event.
  • Select the responsible organizer workspace.
  • Verify source, ticket URL and current event facts after approval.

Common claim questions

Why was management not granted immediately?

Claims require review because control allows public edits and associations. The existing owner and public information must be protected.

Should I create a new profile while the claim is pending?

No. A duplicate can split followers and event history. Follow the existing claim and provide requested evidence.

Can claiming an external event turn its old order into an Entriza order?

No. Existing external purchases remain with their provider. A claim controls the event record; it does not import another seller's orders or payments.
