Event landing page manual

Give visitors one clear path from the event story to a valid ticket.

The public event page is the destination for campaigns and social links. It shows the event details, ticket options, optional intro video and signup form, while Entriza keeps checkout, confirmation and tracking in one flow.

For organizers preparing a published event and its campaign links.
Step 1

Complete the event details first

Enter the date, local time zone, venue, address, age information, lineup, ticket types, prices and sales period before publishing. Check every language version that you plan to advertise. The page and checkout use these values, so do not repeat different prices or times in campaign text.

What to do

  • Confirm the venue address and event time zone.
  • Check ticket prices, quantities and sales dates.
  • Review the public page in each advertised language.
Step 2

Add an intro video without blocking the page

Use a public YouTube or Vimeo URL when a short intro helps visitors understand the event. Add a poster image as the fallback. The video starts without sound and must not be required for ticket checkout. The poster remains visible when the video is unavailable or reduced motion is preferred.

What to do

  • Paste a public HTTPS video URL in the event editor.
  • Upload or select a clear poster image for mobile visitors.
  • Test the page with the video blocked and with reduced motion enabled.
Step 3

Keep the ticket path and signup purpose clear

Place the ticket action near the event summary and verify that it opens the Entriza checkout for the same event. The optional signup form uses the existing account and confirmation flow. It can offer future event updates, but it must not promise a discount, drink or other bonus unless that benefit has been configured and approved.

What to do

  • Open the ticket button and confirm the event and currency.
  • Explain what event updates the optional signup provides.
  • Keep marketing consent separate from required account and purchase messages.
Step 4

Prepare provider and legal details before enabling mail

Signup can be prepared while organizer email sending is unavailable. To enable organizer mail, complete the legal provider details, privacy notice, verified sender and MFA requirements shown in the email settings. Entriza details must not be substituted for the organizer's own legal information.

What to do

  • Enter the organizer name, address and privacy contact.
  • Verify the sender and reply address.
  • Keep the signup notice disabled until the setup check is complete.
Step 5

Use consent-based tracking and test before promotion

Configure Meta or Google tracking through the event tracking settings, not through custom scripts. Analytics and advertising requests wait for consent. Ticket checkout must still work when tracking is declined. Use UTM links for campaign attribution and test the landing page, checkout, confirmation, signup and mobile layout before spending on ads.

What to do

  • Set a consistent source, medium, campaign and creative in every ad link.
  • Test both consent choices and confirm that checkout still works.
  • Check the purchase and signup events without using real customer data.

Common event landing page questions

Why is the signup form visible but unavailable?

Organizer signup stays unavailable until the required provider details, privacy information and sender checks are complete. You can prepare the page first and enable the form after the settings are approved.

Can I send visitors to the general profile instead?

Use the event landing page for a campaign because it keeps the event details, tickets and measurement together. Keep the organizer profile as the permanent bio link for future events and general information.

Does the video need to load for someone to buy a ticket?

No. The poster and event details remain available when the video fails, is blocked or is not preferred. The ticket action must remain usable without playback.
